Explore The Land Of The Fae & Spirit-Kind In Betwixt And Between
August 13, 2021 by fcostin
All Or None Games have confirmed their attendance to SPIEL'21 - and they will be headed over with a strategic adventure board game that smashed its target way back in January on Kickstarter. Betwixt and Between will be getting some limelight this year at the expo, as players are welcomed into the home of the fae and spirit-kind, which is seeping in ancient magic and rich in European folklore.
Betwixt and Between // All or Nothing Games
Amongst the magic, in the sanctuary of magical creatures players will take the role of mystics and set out to explore into the crevasses of the world, and contain and utilise the rare magic which resides.
Following a path rich in story, players will travel through into the unknown by drafting a series of exploration cards to guide them through the twists and turns in their adventure.

By being strategic and tactical with cards, players are able to combine their output of cards with their character's journey to meet and explore new otherworldly beings to encounter and harness the magic within them. This magic will provide the Mystic with new abilities and points to travel and traverse forward into the woods. Where the character levels up and evolves depending on the magic that has been collected.

By the end of the game, the player who has proven to be the most skilled and cunning Mythic, obtaining enough magic required - will be crowned the champion! Or, the Ultimate Mythic in this case!
The game can take roughly 90-120 minutes to play, depending on how many Mythics are involved in the adventure. However, the game is pitched for 1-4 players, so a solo adventure into this magical and eerie world is certainly something I would love to explore further.
After the Kickstarter campaign ended, the sales blew up on the All or Nothing Games website, so if you are headed to SPIEL'21, don't forget to stop by to the All Or Nothing Games Booth to find out more about this beautiful fantasy title.

well, the art certainly does look spot on
Sounds good but I think I’ll stick with D&D thanks.
the art does indeed look nice, but sadly I read this as Brexit and Between……so on that basis I am out! ha ha
We have had enough of poorly thought out and badly implemented ideas around here!
