Face Betrayal At Baldur’s Gate With New D&D Themed Board Game
June 7, 2017 by brennon
If you like the Betrayal At House On The Hill game then you might like the idea of this Dungeons & Dragons crossover which takes you into the dark streets of Baldur's Gate.
The game takes the Betrayal formula and drops you into the world of Dungeons & Dragons for a new adventure.
"The shadow of Bhaal has come over Baldur’s Gate, summoning monsters and other horrors from the darkness!
As you build and explore the iconic city’s dark alleys and deadly catacombs, you must work with your fellow adventurers to survive the terrors ahead. That is until some horrific evil turns one—or possibly more—of you against each other.
Was it a mind flayer’s psionic blast or the whisperings of a deranged ghost that caused your allies to turn traitor? You’ll have no choice but to keep your enemies close!"
The game will see you wandering through the city trying to solve the mystery before one of your party turns traitor and things twist into a race against time as you battle against some nameless foe and the denizens of the dark.
Do you think you'll be picking this up?

Fun fact: I worked on the original Baldur’s Gate for PC 😀
You did? Awesome!
My housemate from the late 90s/early 2000s absolutely *hammered* that game. She may be getting this one for Christmas.
Excellent. I got the original DvD as a freebie when I bought a laptop computer years and years ago. It reawakened my interest in gaming.
That’s wonderful, Baldur’s Gate 1 & 2 are some of the most satisfying gaming experiences I’ve ever had. Thank you!
Go for the eyes, Boo, go for the eyes!
That game had me totally immersed for months
Avalon hill produce fantastic games so this would be worth a look
Mm a card game will have a look first.
Unless they have fixed the issues from “Betrayal House on the Hill”, I am going to stay away and see what the reviews say first.
@herrigold to have worked on any game is cool. But possibly the best RPG ever made wow!
This game looks quite cool.
