Seasoned gamers may recognise Europa Universalis: The Board Game - it's based on the classic video game series by Paradox Interactive. And while I'm not usually a fan of video game turned tabletop reboot, I actually think designer Eivind Vetlesen has exceeded expectations with this board game.

I guess I’m okay with the reboots as I was a backer on Crusader Kings The Board Game. I really like that PI is exploring offline variants of their titles. Some things can be as much or more fun offline and powered down.
