Escape From Arkham With Knight Games’ New Batman Board Game
January 24, 2023 by brennon
Knight Games are looking to fund their brand new Batman board game, Escape From Arkham Asylum! Take on the role of villains from Batman's rogue's gallery and see if you can "work together" to formulate an escape plan and get yourselves out of the maximum security prison before Batman turns up to ruin the fun.
Batman: Escape From Arkham Asylum // Knight Games
In Batman: Escape From Arkham Asylum, you'll play as villains like The Joker, Harley Quinn, Penguin and Bane as they look to scour Arkham for components that they can use to enact their escape plan. That might be crafting a zipline so that you can zoom out of a window or any one of a multitude of different options.

What's neat is that each time you set up to play, the layout of the rooms and corridors of Arkham is going to be slightly different and you don't know where particular enemies might appear throughout the course of the game. Additionally, Escape From Arkham is semi-cooperative (you're villains!) so there's nothing to say you can't make things a little bit harder for your "friends" if it means that you can get away without issue!
If you're interested in learning about how the game plays, you can check out our video and Knight Games' one below...

Batman: Escape From Arkham Asylum - How To Play
As the game progresses, not only are you going to have to deal with the guards (and sometimes each other!) but as the alert level rises, Batman might arrive! At that point, you've got a real problem on your hands!

With each character having their own set of special abilities and a host of ways to dive in and play different scenarios and setups, Escape From Arkham Asylum sounds like a lot of fun. It's always nice to be the bad guy once in a while!
Pledge Options
If you're interested in the game, there is a Core Box pledge that you can dive into which comes with everything you need to play over on the Gamefound page.

Plenty of characters and foes for you to choose from when it comes to sitting down for a game or two of an evening. Additionally, for the first twenty-four hours of the campaign, there is a Gamefound Exclusive bonus where you'll get a set of "skins" to represent the different characters in the game.
Patients Character Skin Set // Batman: Escape From Arkham Asylum
These skins don't do anything mechanically but they do change up the look of your characters, a bit like in a video game. So, you can get alternative versions of Two-Face, Scarecrow, The Joker and Poison Ivy. More will undoubtedly be unlocked as the campaign progresses so if you're interested, make sure to keep an eye on the Gamefound Page for more developments.
Will you be diving into Arkham Asylum in hopes of escaping it before Batman arrives?

Great looking game figures for player’s.
Not after the fiasco with their previous Quiddich (?) KS.
