Everything Epic Shows Off Lightning For Big Trouble In Little China
January 23, 2017 by deltagamegirl22
Everything Epic has announced that pre-orders will be starting soon for the much anticipated, Big Trouble In Little China board game. We had the opportunity to talk to them at Gen Con again this year and chat about the game, and it sounded great.
They have been going to town on really bringing the movie to life in the game through the art and sculpts.
This week they are showing off the art and miniature for one of the Three Storms - meet Lightning!
I don't know about you, but I cannot wait to see this game and how it's played. With such a highly recognizable IP, this is another one example of a potentially perfect crossover game to hook folks that are not necessarily gamers.
It's important to mention that this game will not be a Kickstarter, so be on the lookout for the pre-order option so you can be one of the first to get the game when it's released.
It will be interesting to see how much this game evokes the spirit of the film and gets it right on the tabletop.
Will you be sorting out Big Trouble Trouble In Little China?

I wanna see the thing that comes out of the wall when they are under ground. It freaks me out, even today
Will they have Wind blowing the little rubber ball or Thunder about to explode?
And the check is in the mail ( or so the cross-Ponders can understand, the cheque is in the Post).
How many good rolls will be followed by, “It’s all in the reflexes”. Can’t wait for this one!
This could be very cool. It is also refreshing that it isn’t going to kickstarter.
Those are rather cool.
they are looking good.
Big Trouble In Little China is probably my all-time favourite film, so I’m very excited about this!
Aww Christ, Wang, it’s only a game!
When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, looks you crooked in the eye, and asks you if you paid your dues; you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol’ Jack Burton always says at a time like that: “Have you paid your dues, Jack? Yes sir, the check is in the mail.
That is rather cool. Not sure I need just another minis boardgame, or if it will even be a type of game I’d enjoy, but definitely keeping an eye on it. Could be one of those perfect ‘persuade a friend to add it to their collection so I can paint it up for them’-type of situation 😉
