June 21, 2022 by fcostin
Do you think you have the restraint to control a constant flow of cheese? I certainly don't, but I would not say no to trying! A cheesey-themed engine-building board game has appeared on Kickstarter. Bringing players into the chaotic kitchen concocting some messed-up cheese!

I must take it easy with the cheese puns in this one... I will brie-have. Yet they are so tempting! Cheese Factory is now live on Kickstarter placing 2-4 players in the seat of chefs of their own stinky, melty, and unique cheese factory.
Putting their chef's hat on and ready to create something truly chaotic, Cheese Factory puts players into an intriguing task to create some truly unique cheeses! Building the strangest machines and combining the most strange ingredients, alike the Whayle Milk and Moon Rocks to create some questionable dairy.

As wholesome and unique as that sounds, players will be all out for themselves and their own cooking skills! This means that players will be getting competitive, starting cheese fires to burn down opponents' machines and stopping their cheese empire from growing further.
The player who rakes in the most points by creating the most awesome cheese will be crowned the winner. With violence and vandalism aside from the most unusual chefs, the game teaches basic engine-building mechanics, which would work fantastic for newcomers who would like a challenging experience but also learning the fundamentals and the ropes before heading into the likes of Wingspan or Terraforming Mars.
There are 23 days left on the clock and was funded in the first 24 hours of the campaign being live. There are stretch goals unlocking like there's no tomorrow, bringing some quality of life improvements to the game as an additional win, plus some optional add-ons and print-and-play options.
Would you come up triumphant against a band of meddling cheese chefs?
