Embrace The Life Of A Smuggler In Star Wars: Imperial Assault
December 22, 2015 by brennon
Fantasy Flight Games have shown off another of the upcoming characters that will soon grace the tabletops of those who play Star Wars: Imperial Assault. Adding a bit of swagger and 'cool' to proceedings we have the Alliance Smuggler...
This set gives you another miniature for use in the game which isn't tied to any big box expansion so it's entirely new. You get the relevant upgrade cards as well as a new mission called Precious Cargo which can be played as part of a campaign.
In Precious Cargo you have to help the downed Smuggler escape before Imperial forces close in. In doing so he might become an ally for use in later missions. Gameplay wise it looks like the Smuggler is as slippery as the likes of Han Solo would suggest meaning that he can dodge out of the way of incoming fire and generally be a bit of a nuisance.
Will you be picking up the Alliance Smuggler?

Thats a very nice sculpt!
This is based of the smuggler PC “Pash” in the Edge of Empire RPG starter box. I’m dearly hoping they make the other characters, both from EotE and the other two starter sets. Prominent NPCs from the RPG adventures would be welcome as well!
The only think I’d rather see would be some Force Awakens stuff. i guess they’d need to rename it First Order Assault though…
