Embrace Your Inner Orc With Ravage – Dungeons Of Plunder
April 27, 2018 by brennon
Modiphius has added a new board game to their webstore this week, Ravage - Dungeons Of Plunder. Embrace your inner Orc and get stuck into some dungeon delving.
"High up in the Blackroot Mountains lives a tribe of orcs. They are ultra-competitive with one another and the Chieftain promotes this in his warriors. They occasionally team up in an uneasy alliance to plunder nearby caverns and outposts.
Many times these raids are purely to plunder them for loot while ridding the nearby area of nasty monsters at the same time. Other times they are formed by the Chieftain to exterminate a specific target.
To keep the peace the Chieftain selects a warrior from each caste of the tribe. The Berserkers, the Shamans, the Headhunters and the Cultists."
The game comes with different modes of play including Solo, Cooperative and Treachery where you all go up against each other with the first player to kill six heroes becoming the winner. Each different style of Orc plays very differently too, opening up more gameplay options as you come to sit down and play each time.
It's neat to see a game which twists the dungeon delve on its head a little and has you playing as the 'bad guys'.
What do you make of Ravage?

This looks great.
Thank you Spacewolflord
Will any miniatures come with this game or will they remain paper tigers like on the picture we see here?
I remember a computer game that had kind of the same idea, where the player was the evil dungeon master designing a dungeon to lure those so-called heroes in (yakk, men, wizards, elves and even aristocrats) and then kill ém all.
The dungeon on display here seems rather small. Will there be more?
Hi Jemmy They are standees only in the game at the moment, I would like to get into miniatures at a later point but this was my first Kickstarter and didn’t want to overload or overstretch myself. I did all the game design and all the artwork so my plate was already full. The game you are referring to on the computer was Dungeon Keeper and it was great 😎 The game gets bigger at the end of a game you are looking at about 15 or more cards (standard size) on the table, which you pull each turn so… Read more »
