Players will set off to do exactly what it says in the team - manage a football team. With choices to either solo the campaign of play as a party of four, players will sit in the standings to become the manager and ensuring that each player and in total, the team can propel forwards in the league throughout the entirety of the season.
Looking at the very granular, each player will determine each of their footballers on the field. Whether it be their position or the strategy, each football match's success will be determined by how strong the manager is themselves.
Along with problems on the pitch, the players will have a budget to adhere to. Making decisions with strategy, and calculating the monetary value for the club's behalf. This may be regarding the community following, home-ground maintenance or any other behind the scenes business to which a manager will have to equate.

Along with the obvious managerial maintenance with the club itself, players will have the support from specialists around them to help them and their stats in-game. Doctors and trainers can be implemented to ensure each player on the board is being utilised to their best potential.
There are many ways that the game can be played, therefore it is interesting to know that the replayability factor is high due to that matter. Not only will players be striving to get to the top of the league to earn as many points as they can, there are also a plethora of ways to progress and squash your opponents. If you look after your fans, your fans will look after you! But do be warned, as much as players will want to progress in the league, this takes hard work and dedication - if players fail, they can risk bankruptcy and a whole lot of loss!
Launching not on Kickstarter, but on Gamefound with 19 days left and already ridiculously funded over the initial goal of £30,000. If you are a football fan or somebody like my brother in law who takes football manager incredibly seriously on the PC, you might want to check out the board game adaptation.

Quite an interesting game, I gave it to my nephew for his birthday. But I am a fan of real football. Every year I wonder who will get the Golden Ball award. I regularly read articles on this website about the candidates and the chances of winning. For me, it’s a hobby and passion.
