Modiphius has teamed up with Bethesda to bring The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – The Adventure Game to the tabletop. Players are provided with a one to four-player experience, where they will release their bespoke fantasy hero out into the wilds of Tamriel of old. Combining campaign play, epic battles, looting, side quests and adventure that extends the dives into the grind-worthy video game for new opportunities.

Each player will belong to the Blades, a group of highly skilled protectors of Tamriel. Cooperating or solo-ing it across a broad map you will be hoping to thwart the threat approaching Skyrim. Spread across two campaigns, with three chapters to each; there are many different pathways to take when exploring the game world.

Boasting a huge hoard of quests to dip into and lauded for having hundreds of hours worth of gameplay at the table, you will be choosing from a Nord, Dunmer, Imperial, Altmer, Khajiit or Orsimer. Players will be equipping their characters with armour, weapons and spells before they venture into the unforgiving world.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – The Adventure Game can be pre-ordered from various major retailers, including the video game store GAME. Alongside the core game, there is also an option to dip into two of the expansions, Dawngard and From The Ashes. You will also find options to upgrade your game even further with a five to eight-player expansion extending the player count and a Miniatures Upgrade which trades out the monster counters for 32mm models.

Previews seem to say that the Adventure Board Game does the video game justice, and I know a fair few people that have spent more time in Skyrim than they have in reality! Would you be interested in picking this title up at release?
