When you dive into Ulaya Chronicles you're going to get a one-box experience from the world of The Drowned Earth. All the things you need to play the game are included within that one set including the standees, terrain, board and all the gubbins that keep a game ticking over.

Ulaya Chronicles: Raptor Claw Island then comes together into an experience for between one-to-four players where you will be trying to uncover the mysteries of Raptor Claw Island and see if you can escape from the pirates on your tail.
You'll find a mix of gameplay elements from both dungeon crawlers and wargames plus an overarching story which plays out for your group across different scenarios. This sounds like a really fun way to dive into their game world, especially since you don't need to actually paint anything to enjoy its core experience.
Expanding The Experience
As well as the basic options for the game presented above, there are plenty of extra ways you can go when looking to turn it into a more familiar wargame experience. The Drowned Earth team has been working on some stunning miniatures which replace the standees and take things to the next level as you'll see below.
So, as a reminder, you can either pledge for that core game or you can go that extra mile and either pick up some miniatures to represent the heroes and then take it another step to add the dinosaurs into the mix as well. You can also pick up the different sets of miniatures for the wider world of The Drowned Earth too.
For example, you can pick up this pack of Heroes...
...or expand things and take on the dastardly Corsairs who are going to be harassing you in the game!
You've then also got the big ol' box of Dinosaurs which might just be fun for those who like painting monstrous lizards! I mean, anyone who doesn't like dinosaurs is clearly tired of life right?
The world of The Drowned Earth is a fascinating one which is packed with unique and interesting characters, the chance to build amazing tables packed with wild terrain and plenty of stories to tell. If you want to learn more about The Drowned Earth then you can check out our Game Hub or dive in and explore more of the Kickstarter.

Although I’d like the dino minis for RPG’s, not sure I want to invest that much.
May consider the standee only version, but £10 postage for a £39 game seems excessive.
The dino set looks great an will also be perfect for a Jurassic park survival game’s?
The other figures are fabulous looking.
I am a fan of TDE, its been pretty impressive how one guy launched the last KS and delivered it all early. Makes me confident this one will be on time!
Very keen to try this coop game version with my wife with the minis as do love the dinos, plus it has campaign mechanics so it should be fun to give it a go.
Looking forward to this game! Love the look of it and it could be a great minis game to get my board game friends to play with.
My Second The Drowned Earth Kickstarter, and it is the second time I do the Genesplicer pledge… ^^ Love this world and James is an awesome guy.
after seeing the video the game looks a fabulous unpredictable fun game.
