My book fell apart before I had finished reading it!!
I can’t deny the production quality but to me 70 pounds is too expensive. This may be because I don’t play games like this much but e.g. 40k has me hooked so I could spend that much money on it, whereas dreadfleet just doesn’t appeal as much as spending 70 pounds on it.
Yeah the instructions on the box was annoying. Also i didnt realise that the part for each ship were labeled A, B, C etc so i had trouble working out which mast was for each ship, especially with only the small pictures. But it all looks nice. I havent actually looked at the rules yet, im painting the stuff first but from what ive seen it should be a good game.
I’m sure they used to have a turning device like that in 40K 2nd edition. Glad they still don’t have it, as it didn’t make any sense. I’d rather see vehicles pivot around their center point rather than doing a strange handbrake turn type thing.

It’ll never replace MoW, but in it’s own right is a fantastic addition to my gaming experience. If you don’t have one and are able to get one, and in ANYWAY like naval combat, warhammer or pirates, this… Read more »
I’m not to bothered about it now to be honest. I don’t think there will be an amazing amount of ‘page flicking’ once we’ve had a few games.
May just cut the spine and ring bind it anyway. Can lay the bugger flat that way!
