Next Move Games just aren't done with tile-laying games it seems as they turn their attention to a new version of Azul called Azul: Summer Pavilion.

Azul Summer Pavilion - Next Move

Much like in the original Azul you will be working to complete the Summer Pavilion of King Manuel I. You will need to create the most beautiful looking piece of art whilst also looking to avoid waste. This means you're going to be getting stuck back into the drafting of tiles once more...

Azul Summer Pavilion (Rear) - Next Move

Every time I see this game and its components I want to eat them...they look too much like candy! Much like with previous games you'll be taking groups of tiles and then using these to build up your designs, placing them in such a way as to score bonus points here and there and finish off entire 'stars' for additional boons at the end of the game.

As with all of the existing Azul games and Reef from Next Move Games, these are great puzzle games which tease your brain just enough. I have had a lot of fun playing the original Azul and there is every reason to believe this will be just as interesting a game. Is there a reason to buy this over the original though? Well, we'll have to wait and see.

Are you a big Azul fan?
