Discworld’s Youngest Witches Arrive at Micro Art Studio
October 17, 2013 by dracs
If any of you are unaware I am a huge fan of Terry Pratchett's Discworld series (even while writing this I am watching Going Postal). So imagine my excitement when Micro Art Studio announce a new set of minis for the board game Discworld: Witches.
Discworld: Witches by Phalanx Games, creators of the excellent Discworld: Ankh-Morpork game, focuses on the young witches of the Nac Mac Feegle series.
Micro Art Studios are of course the makers of an awesome range of miniature sculpts of the series' characters, so it is cool to see them brought on board to make these gaming pieces. One complaint I have heard about Discworld: Ankh-Morpork is that the gaming pieces are too simplistic and lack character, so this Witches Sabat set will be a very welcome addition to its own game.
Are any of you Discworld fans? Remember, the Turtle Moves.

Big Discworld fan! Only played Ankh-Morpork once, but it’s great fun, highly recommended 🙂 One note though, both games are by Treefrog Games, I’m guessing Phalanx Games is just the Polish publisher.
At the risk of necro-posting (I somehow only stumbled across this today), I got the board game of ‘Witches’ for Christmas – huge fun and quick to learn, but surprisingly tactical too ^^ Would recommend it – now I need to get my hands on Ankh-Morpork 😀
