I have enjoyed a good few games of Villainous on games nights. Taking on the role of a particular evil do-gooder set in the Disney or Marvel universe, with their own set of motives and objectives to achieve. It's a lot of fun taking on the manipulative deeds of the likes of Jafar or Thanos to win the game.

Power of the Dark Side // Villainous

We have headed across the Disneyverse through the likes of Lotso from Toy Story 3, into Marvel territory following the dark and cruel acts of Ultron. Now Ravensburger is heading into a galaxy far, far away edging players over to the Dark Side with Star Wars Villainous.

Villain Miniatures // Star Wars Villainous

There are five different characters across the new title, with a series of tortured plans to put into motion. With Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, Moff Gideon, General Grievous and Asajj Ventress joining the title.

Vehicle Cards // Star Wars Villainous

There are many missions to undergo to unleash the villainous plots - Darth Vader, you will need to stop Luke in his path of light, seek out lightsabers to add to his wide collection with General Grievous and kidnap poor little Grogu to do the unspeakable to. But players will also have access to vehicles to slow the other players down.

There certainly is a mixed bag of villains here, of course, you can expect the likes of Kylo Ren and Darth Vader to be making an entrance. But it's wonderful to see General Grievous, Moff Gideon and especially Star Wars Battlefront and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed's Asajj Ventress gain some more well-deserved limelight.

The title is set to be released this summer by the name of Villanous Power of the Dark Side, and is not compatible with any other Villainous series. However, if stealing adorable baby Yodas and collecting a bundle of lightsabers is on your to-do list - the Villainous game series is a lot of fun and can imagine the game mechanic will translate well over to some dark and twisted Star Wars Villains.
