The battles of Games Workshop's Warhammer Underworlds are shifting to a new location. Within the Realm of Ghur, The Everwinter has transformed the continent of Bjarl and new warbands are heading there to explore the tunnels of the Deathgorge.

Within this network of burrows and chasms you'll find the remains and treasures of lost civilisations that are ripe to be thawed out and snapped up by enterprising adventurers. Two such warbands are getting embroiled in a scuffle with the focus this time moving to the Idoneth Deepkin and the Hedonites Of Slaanesh.

If you're looking to play as the Hedonites Of Slaanesh then you can pick up the twisted Thricefold Discord. These soul-seeking daemons are deadly but they tend to also feud amongst themselves. This means that even other Hedonites have shunned them. Syll’Esske, The Vengeful Allegiance has punished them and sent them into the depths of the Deathgorge in search of treasures and 666 souls.

The animosity is what has bound them together and it is also what fuels them and pushes them towards their end goal. You've got an absolute dream collection of miniatures here in my opinion. I think if you're someone who likes their painting, this is going to be an excellent set to pick up. If you want to play Warhammer Underworlds but don't have the patience to paint lots of miniatures, there are only three of them here!

Going up against The Thricefold Discord, we have Cyreni’s Razors from the Idoneth Deepkin.

Cyrenis Raiders - Warhammer Underworlds

Cyreni's Raiders // Warhammer Underworlds

It wouldn't be a Warhammer Underworlds warband if it didn't have a pet in it that everyone can go wild over. These warriors have been sent down into the Deathgorge in search of souls as well making them perhaps just as dangerous as the daemons they are going up against. I really love the look of the Namarti with their eyeless faces which feels totally "Metal" with a capital M. I guess the funky squid is also cool. Who am I kidding, he is ace.

This set works as a good starting point for someone wanting to dive into Warhammer Underworlds and provides you with decks to play games right out of the box plus some additional decks which can be used by any faction.

Within the bowels of this set, you'll find a few new ways to experience Warhammer Underworlds which might be fun for those properly deep into the competitive scene. For those just wanting to paint some badass miniatures and have fun with a single set, I reckon this also hits a lot of the targets. I really like the Hedonite miniatures in this set and I can't wait to see how people paint them.

Are you going to be picking up this new Warhammer Underworlds set?
