It is always the cutest of animals that are turned into tyrannous murderers in board and card games. And the newest Kickstarter entitled Murder Bunnies: The Killer Card Game is certainly no different. Those demonic bunnies are out to get their carrots, and nothing short of murder is going to get in their way.

The bunnies are on a murderous rampage and it is up to the players to use their strategy to earn a mighty hoard of carrots. Players must move across the board to attack the bunnies for one goal and one goal only, to earn their carrots and remain victorious. No bunny is safe. As each move from a player has the chance to take out a bunny on the field. To win, players must collect 15 carrots, which will equate to a mass murder bunnycide.

Each bunny is individually different. Containing different types of skills and abilities to take down the rivals. There are some bunnies who are tough as nails, and some bunnies who are good as a pawn tactic. Each bunny will need to be placed with pure strategy, alike a real messed up version of chess. If you lose one of your most powerful bunnies like the reaper and his abilities to take from the graveyard, it would hurt you in-game long term.

My favourite thing about the concept of Murder Bunnies is that it each bunny you get in the pack is different, there are zero duplicates of bunny. Therefore each playthrough will be individually unique and will become more challenging over time the more you and your rival immerses yourself into the game.

There are some stretch goals available too. Unlocking the first two already, there are plenty of new goals to unlock which will add lots more killer bunnies into the already unpredictable deck.

The game has 21 days left to go on its' Kickstarter Campaign, and this is certainly one that I will be backing. The simplicity and individuality of the strategy involved will make a fantastic quick-hit for party games. Can certainly see some form of Killer Bunny Tournament in my Game Night's future...

No bunnies were harmed in the makings of this Kickstarter.
