Cthulhu Tale, Horror On The Orient Express, Becomes Board Game!

Chaosium just announced that they are going to be bringing a classic Call Of Cthulhu adventure to the tabletop in board game form. Horror On The Orient Express will see you and your friends travelling through the Dreamlands battling all manner of strange, eldritch horrors.

Horror On The Orient Express is a cooperative game where you control a character that can develop new skills, gather up important items, interact with the train's passengers and see if you can change the fate of the train.

During gameplay, you will be discovering and hunting down cultists who are looking to finish a ritual. There are all manner of interesting mechanics at play here according to BoardGameGeek and it feels like there's a neat narrative element to your adventures here too.

It's neat that a module from the roleplaying game is coming to the tabletop and it will be fascinating to see what form this all takes. I am eager to get a closer look at the components and mechanics although this could be a little way off. It might not be dropping until around 2024/2025.
