Create An Ecosystem Of Harmony In Keystone North America Kickstarter
May 20, 2021 by fcostin
We have all realised by now, that I am mad about anything with animals or nature embedded in to it. Which is why Kickstarter has become my go-to place to search for new board and card games with any type of critter involved.
Keystone North America // Rose Gauntlet Entertainment
If you are an environmental nut like me, Keystone North America by Rose Gauntlet Entertainment is the newest nature-themed tile-placement game up on Kickstarter, and players will get their chance to build an engaging ecosystem in the heart of North America, engaging with grizzly bears, desert tortoise and many a creature to find home in the wilderness.
North America is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, reaching across several different ecosystems to keep the land happy and healthy. The game will teach you more about the plants and animal which reside in the area, whilst enabling you to create your own healthy ecosystem along the way.
Explore the heart of North America solo, cooperatively or competitively. As 1-4 players take the role of biologists to build a hearty ecosystem for the beloved wildlife that reside there. Players will be required to place cards to expand the ecosystem, by using skills, introducing animals and undergoing research to earn more points.

Players can compete to build a healthy and sustainable ecosystem, through strategically placed cards. But if the competition is not for you, and you might be feeling a nice chill session with a board game, players can undergo a narrative experience as they trek across North America as a biology research team, collecting data and enjoying the surroundings. Which can be played both solo and cooperatively.
There are a few different pledges available too. Whether you are looking to enjoy just the core game simply, with no extra pizazz, then that is certainly an option. However, you can get your hands on a special edition Deluxe Edition which is only available for Kickstarter which includes updated artwork, upgraded components and a central playmat to tie together your game.
If you did want to learn the mechanics and get your head around the nature that resides in the north, Keystone North America is up on Tabletopia, whether you want to play online or go about your adventures solo.
The Kickstarter campaign has only been live for two days, and still has 28 left to go whilst simultaneously smashing through their target. It seems like everybody wants to take a trip to the desolate areas of North America to meet the wildlife, and enjoy the surroundings.
