Have you ever played Hero's Crossing? The game certainly is a delight for fantasy lovers, as players take on the role of the support behind the hero. Providing all the equipment and items they need before they set off on their next heroic deed.

Hero's Crossing: Villains Expansion // Hero's Crossing

One Method Monkey has now released the game's first expansion, Hero's Crossing: Villains, as players immerses villains into the gameplay. No more providing cheerful and chirpy health potions for mere heroes, the pathway has opened to allow some sinister into the mix.

Adding 11 cards to the pixel-art themed city-building game with the expansion, the game has been provided with a few sneaky and cheeky twists and turns to keep players on their toes.

The pixel-style of artwork certainty does throw off the concept of the game. This style reminds me of the old school pixelated dungeon crawlers and is a delight to see fantasy on the tabletop take this angle.

Hero's Crossing // One Method Monkey

If you have never played Hero's Crossing before, players take on the competitive role of a non-hero. Instead of making your way through slaying the dragon, or taking down the mighty woman of the woods, players will be in charge of the supply and demand of said heroes, providing items aplenty to the heroes passing by.  However, players will be working against one another and need to be extremely detail focussed to avoid any heroes getting in any danger, due to the crafting of the product.

The Villains expansion to Hero's Crossing is available to purchase now on the One Method Monkey website, so get your inventory stocked up as there is going to be something wicked coming your way.

Which fantasy villain would you like to play restock for?
