Corvus Belli Announces New Board Game, Aristeia!
May 5, 2017 by crew
We've got something awesome for you to dive into today as we announce that Corvus Belli is bringing out a new project, Aristeia.
So, what do we need to know about this game?
What Is Aristeia!?
Aristeia! is the new board game from Corvus Belli, an Infinity spin-off in which two players become the managers of two competition teams for the greatest show in the Human Sphere.
Players will face each other in the arena, and will have to plan their actions carefully to win.
Is This Game Independent From Infinity?
Yes, absolutely independent. Aristeia! is a board game, not a miniature wargame, and has been designed from scratch as a parallel product. The action happens in the Infinity universe and the game shares some characters and introduces new ones to this Science Fiction setting.
What Is The Release Date?
The expected release date is late 2017. Those who come and visit us at Gen Con, Essen or the Interplanetary will have the opportunity to try the game in our demonstration tables.
How Do I Find Out More?
We’ll reveal soon more information about Aristeia! in our website and social network accounts. To be up to date you can visit our official website: www.aristeiathegame.com
Does this sound like its perfect for you? We can't wait to find out more about the game and follow what Corus Belli has planned.

I think CB are awesome! I wonder if I can ‘manage’ William Wallace?
if anyone can manage Wallace it’s a crazy jock in a kilt with a sword
ok i’m officially excited. you know it’s going to be mustard. CB would rather not release something than do something subpar. the art work looks phenomenal and I have super high hopes for the game. i’m in by default of course but I can’t wait to find out more. any word on the miniatures? I mean if it’s a board game they are going to be single piece PVC I would have thought. if so I hope CB do metal versions for those of us that want to go the extra mile. any chance they will be coming to Ireland… Read more »
I relish the thought 😛
Hell, they put metal in their two-player starter boxes so who knows. They might just tell conventional wisdom to go f*#k itself and put metal in this one as well. That would be awesome. And with a one-piece cast, it is totally feasible.
Cool 🙂
I look forward to got my hands on it
“Funny” come to think of it that this months Infinity releases include an Ex-Aristeia sniper …
Stress on the “ex” part.
Maybe she’d be allowed to come out of retirement and play paintball when IS doesn’t require her services.
I think this could either be a fun distraction or a great hook in for new players depending on what it actually is…
Ooooooooooh! Intriguing!
When I read, new game from Corvus Belli, I was like “uh shiny”. When I read the name I was like hell yeah. If there is another part of Infinity that allows for a great game it definitely is this. It is one of the things in Infinity, that made me want to know even more about the universe, so I can’t wait to hear more about this.
More! More! More!
Sooo effectively it’s pro-wrestling merged with paintball/airsoft but with (potentially) live ammo? Or put another way, it’s the infantry version of Battletech’s Solaris-7 arena combat?
Either way, colour me interested!
for everyone who is interested I found this link to Aristeia rules in the CB forums: http://infinitytheforums.com/forum/topic/33022-aristeia-rules/
Those are NOT the Aristeia rules.
Those are fan made rules from 2014 and have no relation to the rules for the upcoming boardgame.
I know but for people who have no idea what Aristeia is it will give them a sense of what is about to happen. Of course these are not the official rules…
I remember last year when Gutier was talking about this at a seminar – never thought that it would be making an appearance so soon!
He did say that they were thinking about plastics, but who knows which direction they ended up going?
Yeah they’ve turned this round quickly. Makes you wonder if they’ve had the rules sorted for a while. I’m curious to see how this turns out.
If this has minis I really hope for that metal or resin versions will be available. Pvc is nice for game pieces but not for minis that are supposed to be painted.
I love the world of infinity, in fact, it has grabbed me as an adult in the way that the world of 40K did as a teenager. I’m looking forward to the RPG, and I’ll be playing this too.
Knowing Chorus Belli and the Infinity universe, this will be loads of fun – I’m expecting extreme action!
That seems interesting.
Yes it’s CB; Yes it’s complementary to Infinity, one of my favorite games, but…
… I’ll withold any judgement until I know more. Phrases involving “Wagons”, “jumping aboard” and “band” are popping into my mind. Here’s hoping it meets/exceeeds my expectations.
But you know what CB? Before announcing yet another spin-off you may want to help, cajole and/or push Modiphius into finishing that other spin-off (Infinity RPG) before diversifying any more!
So it’s infinity on a dreadball pitch?
