Control Your Exotic Fruit Empire In Board Game, Juicy Fruits
May 10, 2021 by fcostin
Utilise your own personal serendipitous island, where the sun is to die for, the sea is perfect for swimming and you have delicious fruit growing on trees aplenty! How might you make money on such a stunning island? By stocking up the passer-by ships with your wealth of fruit. Compete against your neighbouring island by gaining points and proving your island an abundance of success, in Juicy Fruits from Deep Print Games.
Juicy Fruits // Deep Print Games
In this tile-placement game, players will control their island by fulfilling orders and growing their business with lots of different fruit tokens. Your island is quite diverse, as you stock bananas, limes, oranges, you name it! But you will need to juggle, you are going to need to replenish along with fulfilling orders and growing your business.
If you do not plan correctly, and pace yourself instead of focussing solely on orders: you will be in the right way for a failed business! As soon as all the businesses across the paradise islands have been claimed, the game is over and those with the most points is crowned the champion.

What I found great about this game is that it is pitched for 8+. The game mechanics are not difficult to pick up, and it can be quite repetitive (in a good way), so the younger board gamers will be in the swing of things in no time. Considering the game is built for 1-4 players, it is a great game to pull out with your family, as it will appeal to a variety of different ages. The game only takes around 20-50 minutes to play... depending on how many of you are competing.
Don't want to play it with your family, or like me do you want to get your practice in before playing others? There are also four solo modes available too!
Juicy Fruits will be hitting retail at the end of this month and is available to pre-order on several different stores online.
Those tokens do look an awful lot like the sweets that you can get out of the machines in bowling alleys...
