Combat Infantry: World War II Tactical Block Game Hits Kickstarter
April 27, 2017 by stvitusdancern
Right now on Kickstarter is Combat Infantry: World War II Tactical Block Game from Columbia Games. This game uses wooden blocks to simulate your units in the "fog of war".
There is a full colour printed unit that only you see until discovered by your opponent. Once contact is made then units are discovered and sighted.
Sometimes this might not be a great thing as it could turn out to be a big piece of armour. The game board is hex based on a scale of 100 meters to a hex.
There are four maps included helping make up the board. The game includes two battalion sized armies, one German and one United States.
These are broken down into three companies and then into three platoons and lastly three squads. There are also support units as well. The rulebook itself is only twelve pages long, so you will not be bogged down with tables and other weighty rules.
Here is good news for everyone over in Europe. This campaign is Euro-friendly and all you will pay is $20 shipping and VAT will be already paid. So, there will be no reason not to jump in on this one!
What is your favourite WWII board game?

Sounds interesting !! Played other block games mainly C&C ones by Richard Borg !! Memoir 44 may be a good example of WW2 board game like this but is a card driven system !! Will wait and see what develops with this .
