CMoN’s Rum & Bones Kickstarter Second Tide Has Some Ork Love
April 21, 2016 by stvitusdancern
CMoN's (Cool Mini or Not) latest Kickstarter Rum and Bones: Second Tide has unveiled an additional mercenary faction: Orcish Tusketeers.
This is a set of heroes that are loosely based on the Three Musketeers and they their names are: Milady de Winter, Athorc, Orcamis, Porcos, and Gob'lingnan. The Kickstarter page describes these characters as:
While the Tusketeers can each be used independently, there is no doubting their innate synergy. Each of the four Musketeers gains benefits for being in the same zone as friendly models, and all of them carry abilities to allow them to better group up. When fighting in tandem, the group is truly a marvel to behold!
The synergy that you can achieve with this group really brings a new element to game play.
There is bribery and skulduggery to be had by all, and to let you know these miniatures are a Kickstarter exclusive. We have the base set for Rum and Bones and we are watching this campaign with interest.
Have you played Rum and Bones yet?

I liked those miniatures and that game when they weren’t plastic, when the game was stil called “Ron and Bones” because of a spelling mistake… They were metal and very cool. I haven’t seen the game pieces up close but they seem less detailed, a fault of mass-produced plastics in general. The game is a no-nonsense fast-paced skirmish boardgame that I liked very much, but as a painter i would have loved real miniatures to go with it… Perhaps they will sell some individually.
I have seen the models and they are… OK for plastic. The thing that gets me most is they were all single piece cast models.
Precisely…
Those are really nice looking minis and game looks interesting.
The names of the orcs are very funny =)
nice if a bit cartoony in a good way.
I will be getting some of those even if I never play the game. Brilliant.
