Become The Host With The Most In New Title Fairy Tale Inn
March 19, 2021 by fcostin
The newest board game release from CMON, brings all fairy tale folk under one roof, in the new two-player - Game Fairy Tale Inn.
From across the realm, fairy tale friends and fiends have flocked into town for the Fairy Tale Festival, and of course, they need somewhere to stay! And where else better to stay than in your own Fairy Tale Inn? The fancy enchanted inn is hosted by yourself and one other player.
Players will take the role of Innkeeper and host at this fully-booked swanky inn, where all walks of fairy tale life are no stranger. But yourself and the co-owner are not working together in harmony! You are looking to prove yourself as the best innkeeper around, taking turns to prove that you will be the host with the most, by strategically placing guests and earning the most gold.

At the start of the game, it will be up to the players to decide which characters they are going to use. Players will need to tactically fill up the game board to ultimately earn the most gold with successful visits from happy fairy tale folk. When I say tactically - you need to be cautious at what guest you place in what room, as the last thing you want is a classic fairy tale brawl under your management! It would probably be best not to place the Three Little Pigs in an adjoining room next door to the Big Bad Wolf!
The board is really interesting, it looks not too dissimilar from Connect Four as it is an upright vertical board - something which seems really easy to set up, play and pack away.
The game boasts it's quick gameplay lasting anywhere between 15-20 minutes. Given the nature of the game, it is brilliant for the younger board gamers too and the strategy allows it to be easily accessible and fun for both veteran and new gamers - especially in a family environment.
