Escape Predators In New Card Game, Sheep In Disguise
May 6, 2021 by fcostin
You may be familiar with the term "wolf in sheep's clothing" but what about a sheep immersed in Viking culture, or a sheep merely hiding in plain sight as a child?
Sheep In Disguise
In Sheep in Disguise, players collect the scattered sheep across the world that have been hidden to protect these fluffy little souls from any predatory harm. But they need to be found, as there is a worldwide sheep shortage. And by all means, necessary players must round up their fluffy flocks to achieve victory.
The party game for 2-6 players is heading over to Kickstarter real soon. With small hints and teasers out there, yet no publisher to be found. However, the artwork does look very The Oatmeal-like, and has similar card layouts to Exploding Kittens and Bears vs Babies: so this may be another card game instalment from the genius' behind those popular titles. Or maybe a rogue card game coming from an independent publisher who loves weird and wonderful party card game concepts.
Sheep In Disguise
Players will be required to use their action cards against opponents in search of sheep to build a flock. Action cards such as an attack, dig and gimme can work in the player's favour. Building combinations of cards with no limit to your sheepish carnage in a turn.
The goal of the game is to explode the opponent's flock - therefore with the number of cards available this is going to take some strategy. As the sheep will be well-disguised, the opponent is going to want to expose them in their hiding, so when the attack card is drawn - that poor exposed and naked sheep flock will be destroyed.
Sheep In Disguise
There is not too much announced as of yet, other than the basic game mechanics, the fact it will be headed over to Kickstarter real soon, and the fact that expansions (including an NSFW expansion) will be available in the campaign. So keep your eyes peeled for the imminent Sheep in Disguise.
Who do you think has designed this upcoming card game? Do you join me and think that it is at the hands of Matthew Inman?
