Classic Chaos Dwarves Return To The Blood Bowl Pitch
December 9, 2019 by brennon
Games Workshop are looking back at more classic elements of their tabletop collection with a peek at the returning Chaos Dwarves for the world of Blood Bowl.
Start Your Own Blood Bowl Team @ Store.OnTableTop
A band of hardy and grim-looking Chaos Dwarves are going to be forming the core of your team but the rest of the team is then made up of equally dark and dangerous-looking Hobgoblins. You will have to be able to bring out the best in both your weak and flimsy Hobgoblins and your slow and purposeful Chaos Dwarves in order to score your touchdowns!
As well as the core team, you'll also be able to pick up the Bull Centaur which is a great new option in the mix for those who want to grow their team.
The Head Coach’s Handbook still contains rules for using the Chaos Dwarves in the game as it stands but this gives you a chance to really dive in and pick up some of these classic models from the depths of Games Workshop's past.
I think that these models, especially the Chaos Dwarves, have a lot of that Oldhammer style to them and will be interesting to see painted up in modern ways.
What do you think of these returning models?

I love those sculpts. “Made to order” … how long will that be available and what will a team cost?
Made To Order options normally last for a week after appearing on the store page. No idea on price sorry.
That’s a tight window…. thanks for the heads up
Great looking classic figures.
Big hats always my favourite naughty dwarf aesthetic. I’ll not be getting any but I hope this signals their return, monster hats and all.
Haha love how the only reason to play that team is the Bull Centures and you have to buy them seperatly. haha.
I mean that’s not uncommon. Most teams have their standard team separate from anything additional/special. I don’t think it’s too much of kick in the teeth…
