As the world returns to normality, Wargaming events that we know and love are returning for us all to indulge in what's new in our hobby. The foot is off the breaks for CHILLCON, returning Saturday 20th August in Sheffield; to provide a calming con atmosphere immersed in wargaming and hobby goodness.

Bringing the North's favourite hobby convention back to gaming halls, attendees will be able to visit retailers, publishers, and creators behind some of the biggest titles in the industry. Confirmed to attend the event are the likes of Mantic Games, Warlord Games, and many more. But you can find a full scope of traders on their website here.

Along with retailers and shop fronts to sink your teeth into, there will be a host of demos available too for your chance to playtest new, upcoming and unreleased titles in the 'Demo Zone'. Plus, if you want to try your hand at the Painting Competition - it's free to enter, and boasts lots of prizes to be won.

If you are not keen on entering the Painting Competition and want some advice on your technique, CHILLCON will also be hosting their 'Hobby Clinic', which will home a plethora of industry painters if you want to pop in for a chat. Including Golden Daemon winners, commission painters and some who have often wielded a brush for Forge World. Boudicca: 2022 Exclusive Event Miniature // CHILLCON

The fun doesn't stop there - there are also live fights performing throughout the day over at the Viking Village, plenty of food to keep your health and energy restocked including a Medieval Tavern, there is also a 2022 event figure. Boudicca will be headlining CHILLCON 2022 for visitors to take home. So if you do love yourself an event mini, be sure to pre-order your ticket to ensure you can swag yourself a warrior queen for attending.

There is a ton to get stuck into at CHILLCON this year for as little as £5 to get in for the day, but if you are there for some loot - you can get yourself entry and a bundle of wargaming goodies with their 'Swag Bag'. Available on the tickets page, you can get your entry to the event and a bag containing double the worth in tabletop goods - plus the exclusive miniature. All packaged in a CHILLCON drawstring bag.
