Living in London, you seem to get your own mental tube map implanted in your head. You learn how to think on the go, and when your journey gets twist-turned-upside-down, you will know what tube line to get on next without much thought. Mass Transit is the brand new, upcoming cooperative card game from Calliope Games, where 1-6 players must work together to get the daily commuters safe and sound, and back at home.

As the day comes to an end in the city, rush hour begins to set in. And there are a ton of busy workers looking to return to serenity outside of the city. Players need to work the perfect routes from the big city out to the suburbs all of which helping each other to achieve that goal.

Players will need to expand commuter lines, whether it be by bus, train and ferry - and will need to get them safely back home after a hard day of work. Although that sounds simple, players will need to keep in mind the potential traffic and other chaotic issues that could occur on the journey home too.
And remember, the city never sleeps! Be prepared for commuters to be hitting the travels at a frantic rate, as the playtime equates to roughly 20 minutes. Meaning you and your team of journeymen will be working their utmost hardest to achieve and meet the goal.
As the game only takes 20 minutes to play and is portable - ironically it makes a very good game to play on a journey! The game was a successful hit on Kickstarter last year, as players use their turns to either extend a route or discard a card to move a meeple.
The concept is easy to pick up, it does not require much space to play and will require players to be a well-oiled machine to achieve their goal, ready for the release at the end of June.
