Calling Mantic Games For Slashing DreadBall Xtreme
October 22, 2015 by stvitusdancern
Mantic Games is celebrating the Rugby World Cup and pre-season six for DreadBall Xtreme by slashing the price of the game in half! If you have been on the fence about getting into DreadBall and especially DreadBall Xtreme, now is the time to do it.
It is important to know that you do not need to have DreadBall to play DreadBall Xtreme as it is a stand alone game. Xtreme takes all the fun from DreadBall and puts in the unsanctioned pitches around the galaxy and with that the rules are more relaxed. The brutality is amp'd up and it is the futuristic gladiator games for the common people, but remember this offer is only good til 2359 on October 31st, so you better hurry!
Now, where did that convict's head go? I told them it wasn't the ball!
Have you tried Dreadball Xtreme?

I thought that headline referred to slashing the game from it’s portfolio! Glad to see that’s not the case!
If anyone is a fan of Dreadball, then Xtreme is a worthy purchase. Grab it while it’s on sale!
So what’s the difference to the normal Dreadball?
Different pitch layout, rules for scatter terrain, a bit more violent, teams can have sponsors who determine team composition and the general quality of components is far higher.
Yeah, gotta admit I though Mantic were ditching it from the title of the article! Bit confused!
It’s a great game. Everyone I’ve showed Xtreme and DBO to, who hadn’t played either before , have preferred Extreme…but maybe that just says something about my friends 🙂
It definitely builds on everything that’s great about Dreadball, with a few nice touches that just improve the whole experience.
I gave in and bought the damn thing…..
Shut up and take my money.
Even with shipping to the USA its still a better deal then most webstores. I’m in.
