We hardly scratched the surface of what they have to offer miniatures wise for fantasy and science fiction and never even got near their historical ranges, so go for a trawl through their site and check out what they have to offer. The Games section is worth a look as well for some excellent sets of rules.

The only prize worth at this point would be cursed city to get the G’Wullu fanboys get really annoyed 😉
and then make a youtube video titled “this is what I think of GW” where you throw it into a shredder … 😀
I’m mad… but I’m not wasting money… 😉
it’s not wasting money if you get it for free 😛
I could sell them…
You could monetise the shredding video 🙂
w8 what…how do i get free prize.. please share haha 😀
First again, i have great luck. Boy do i like Gnomes on Peppa Pig
No you’re not! 😉
As the Gnome said, i’ll take that as a YES
make that the Gnomes on Ben and Holly’s little kingdom, sorry if i confused everyone with Peppa Pig
The big lad is back…..slaying dragons?
St Georges Day. The English dont even get a day off work
I heard they used to but the queen stole it for a second birthday
We don’t get that either. Well the Civil Service do (or did) but not us plebs.
outrageous you should take to the streets
We just harrumph now and then..
Have you tried harrumphing while on the streets?
We should do but the tradition of protest in England is due an overhaul.
Happy weekend!
It’s the new, bright Weekend! Bring it on!
Happy Weekender All. Flintloque and Dystopian wars in the same show, your spoiling me. I do love the 4Ground Skyships very nice indeed.
As a model that Jagdtiger is kind of cool.
I just don’t see how something as big as that could function in a mere skirmish game.
The function is making your opponent hate you
you can get that same effect by paitning giving your soldiers pink Hello Kitty uniforms 😉
this works best in games with a cult like following of the lore/history associated with the game.
did you read my article 😉
I agree completely. I have late WW2 Brits and kinda regret that choice. Early war (or smaller points, infantry-only) is far more interesting to me.
What is there to regret about late WW2 Brits ?
I doubt the rules say you ‘need’ to have tanks (or anything bigger than a jeep or truck).
I bet it is the competitive nature of gaming and the sexy pictures on websites that creates this ‘need’ for bigger guns on the table …
It’s only a “kinda” regret – I love my brown army. It’s just early war looks more fun.
you can always start another army in another period 😉
Bingo! That’s the answer. It’s always the answer 🙂
I feel like I need to join *current year* and get a 3d printer, it looks like they’re not a fad after all.
give it time the EMP wave is coming I have faith
Alternative Armies also do the wonderful Laserburn ranges which is the first scifi game I ever really played so still have a soft spot for
The Otharmann Empire from Alternative Armies are otter-men, rather than rats – possiby the worst pun in the setting.
I was hoping for otters but I couldn’t see them clearly
There was a beard missing this week…
Great introduction to Alternative Armies. I had never heard of them. Thank you!
that’s what we aim for, glad you found them interesting

Glad to Alternative Armies highlighted this week, they are a great company with fantastic customer service and a lovely wide range of models for seemingly every era and those that they create themselves like the fantasy napoleonic with Flintloque/slaughterloo.
Yes, I am a customer of theirs, in several scales and eras!
