With steampunk being very popular right now it's no surprise that board games on the subject are popping up too. Check out the release of Planet Steam by Fantasy Flight Games...

This game sees you vying for control of resources in a steampunk boom town competing against other like minded individuals. The aim of the game is to have the most credits and that can be achieved by some sneaky wheeling and dealing when facing off against your foes.

Commerce and resource games, while sounding a little boring, are actually a lot of fun. The amount of player interaction is key here and I think Fantasy Flight might be onto another winner with this one.
