Black Scorpion have shown us what's currently sitting on the workbench and what we can look forward to over the next few weeks and months. They have quite a varied selection of ranges now all with very nicely sculpted resin miniatures...

High Noon

The first model is from their upcoming Tombstone game and it's a rather bad ass looking Cowgirl with revolver drawn, ready to take the shot...

Cowgirl

The Tombstone game is still a fair way off but hopefully it will feature more awesome models like this in the range. They already have a great selection of Cowboys and more for Tombstone so we're just waiting on the game. I would hope it follows a similar narrative path that Cutlass did.

Ogre Smash

The Fantasy Football field is not to be left untended when it comes to new models. A new Ogre Star Player is in the works and he is looking particularly 'bling' with his fancy armour.

I'd say this chap has won his fair share of matches and got himself a good slice of sponsorship in the doing so too. The only thing I don't like about the model is the leaves on the front of his helmet but I suppose it wouldn't be too much work to snip them off and turn it into a flat helmet.

Captain On Deck!

Last but not least is the flash and daring Pirate/Privateer Captain who is doing all the right swashbuckling things to make him quite the Hollywood star. I think the stance is great and he looks like he'd fit in perfectly on board a ship, wreathed in cannon and musket smoke while the clash of sabres is heard in the din.

The Cutlass line and indeed the game itself has always been one that fascinated me but I could never get anyone together to play it. I might just bite the bullet and grab two crews, get them painted and then press gang them into playing with the King's Coin!

What do you think?
