Batman: Gotham City Chronicles – Versus Mode Expansion Breakdown
February 21, 2018 by dignity
We're talking with Adnane from Monolith Edition about the Versus Expansion which will be available in the upcoming Kickstarter for Batman: Gotham City Chronicles.
Previously we saw how the Adventure Mode plays out, which is a "one vs many" system. In the Versus Mode, it will be you against one other player.
Adnane explains the changes between Adventure and Versus modes and what you can expect when you play the game yourselves.
Do you prefer having all the control?

I want the game, but I haven’t even played Conan yet. I doubt I would be able to get this to a table.
@beetle I recommend making the time to play Conan. It is a lot of fun, and more tactical than a lot of ‘tunnel and room’ dungeon crawlers. You can have some truly heroic moments during gameplay.
If you can get a positive response for Conan, then Batman might make more sense.
I’m into it but I’ve promised myself (and my wife) not to back any more miniature games kickstarter until I finish painting Mythic Battles, so that might mean I never back another miniature game 😀 Game looks great though and having a collection of DC minis would be amazing.
Calling Batman a Headquarter is just wrong, need a better title than that.
This mode sounds fun, too. I was happy to pledge based simply on the Adventure Mode: this just redoubles my sense of anticipation:-)
