Become A Train Tycoon In Age Of Steam: Deluxe Edition
March 10, 2019 by cassn
All aboard the board game train! Publisher Eagle-Gryphon Games have announced the hit game Age of Steam is coming back into print for a Deluxe Edition!
Age of Steam relives the era when pioneering U.S. railroads built the tracks that transformed America's economy. Each self-contained phase in the game keeps players constantly involved in making vital decisions and interacting with other players.
Players must finance the most extensive track network, build the most powerful locomotives, strategically decide which routes will provide the greatest profit, collect the most valuable shipments, and pay back aggressive creditors in this 2-6 player strategic route-placing game!
The new deluxe edition, launched almost twenty years after the original, comes with new artwork, new player colours, six maps, a huge box which can incorporate up to ten map boards (do we sense expansions??), new supply boards, 90 poker chips, 144 tiles and a wealth of other components!
Age of Steam: Deluxe Edition has already reached its funding target, and the current unlocked stretch goals include maps of France and Poland. So if you think you have what it takes to become a train tycoon, head on over to Kickstarter and back the campaign now!

a nice looking game.
Having played the original, 120min is optimistic. I also do not see how this is better than Stephenson’s Rocket considered by many board gamers as one of Dr Reiner Knizia’s great games and that can be played in about half the time.
My only issue with AoS is teaching it. You need to have others who really want to play and learn much like it is with Root.
It looks amazing, I think I have to save money to buy it, well maybe if I try to trade a little bit I can buy it without problems. That is how I bought many games http://usforexbrokers.com/reviews/interactive-brokers/ if you are interested you can take a look and learn about the world of trading, you will see it is not difficult to understand.
