Go From Beans To Factory & Craft Confectionaries In Dulce
August 24, 2022 by fcostin
From out of the ground and displayed on a tasty table, Stronghold Games will be bringing a delicious board game to the tabletop. They are going to be releasing Dulce this September, as players pour their heart, soul, and sugar into competing to make the best confectionaries.
Dulce // Stronghold Games
Combining ingredients to create the perfect cakes does not just start in the kitchen. Players will be heading out to the farm to find different flavours and essences in the form of beans. They will then be taking these tasty frijoles into the factory to create an abundance of sweet and delicious goods.
Up to four players will be collecting the likes of vanilla and peanut to bring back to their player board farms. Everyone will be picking from the same cards from identical decks and they will then need to decide what to do next. Each card has two sides, one with the beans and the other with a factory. They can plant the beans for more income, harvest them for the factory or build a new factory to spread the wealth even further.

For every piece of confectionary made, the players rakes in the point. Strategically placed along the player board over the course of twenty rounds, the player with the most points by the end of the game is crowned the winner. However, there is a solo option to the game, to take away the competitive cutthroat kitchen antics and turn this into a game of strategic growth, perfect for practicing and beating your own score!
The game is set to be released on September 7th with pre-orders already available across online stores. Taking roughly thirty minutes to play through, if you have a sweet tooth and consider yourself organized under pressure, be sure to check out Dulce.
