Backspindle Games Send a Clacks With New Cover and Board Art
April 20, 2015 by dracs
Backspindle Games have continued working on their new Discworld board game Clacks and are busy showing off the new art for the box cover and board.
The Clacks is one of the most integral features of the later Discworld books, serving as a sign of a progressing society in a fantasy world as they find ways to communicate across the continent, developing to the extent of a basic email service.
As you can see, the game itself seeks to recreate this marvel of the Discworld modern age with tile based gameplay, boasting various modes of gameplay including a player-versus-player game, a co-operative race game against the Post Office and a simple two-player introductory game specially designed for children. Backspindle have announced that they will be officially releasing the game at this year's Irish Discworld Convention.
Do you plan on sending a Clacks?

If it’s as fun as the Ankh-Morepork game, I certainly will want to send a Clacks.
