Game Brewer has headed over to Gamefound this week to showcase their newest board game experience. Bringing abstract art to the forefront, and encouraging good vibes and positive emotions. Taking control of the brain in Amygdala.
Amygdala // Game Brewer
If you are not too brushed up on your human anatomy, the Amygdala is the part of the brain which is associated with how we process our emotions. In this board game title, players will be taking an adventure inside the mind, stocking up their memory bank and unlocking emotions to rake in big points.
If you are a fan of board games like Azul and Paris, there are familiar minds getting involved! Game designers Michael Kiesling and Wolfgang Kramer will be putting their experience in game design into another abstract venture, into a new beautifully coloured, brain-centric title.

If you do enjoy your special edition copies of board games, the campaign includes a special Gamefound Deluxe Edition including a wealth of acrylic tokens. However, if you did want to go "all-in" there are storage tweaks and extra rules booklets to see your fit for Amygdala in multiple languages.
Players will hope to control different regions across the beautifully presented brain map, each region will be immediately affiliated with a particular emotion. As players venture across the pathways, they will aspire to collect emotional resources to earn new emotions, connecting tiles to store points.

There are several different addons which you can dip into, including the addition of storage boxes and metal coins. However, if you just wanted to get your mitts on the game, you can purchase the deluxe edition during the campaign, before just the standard edition heads to retail.
The game is not yet funded, however, we do still have 22 days left on the clock. Only 40% left, so if you are a fan of your abstract puzzle games, and enjoy the bright colours of balancing emotions and getting the brain in order, be sure to check out Amygdala on Gamefound for more information regarding gameplay and release.
