Peacefully Hoard Autumn Spoils In New Board Game, Momiji

One of my favourite times of the year is autumn. The slight chill in the air, and kicking the crunchy orange leaves as they surround the footpath.
Momiji // Japanime Games
Japanime Games are gearing up for the release of Momiji, as players collect leaves and hoard acorns in a stunning Imperial Garden.
Coming to your FLGS in February 2022, players will put their set collection skills to the test to meet objectives in scoring points. Whether you want to journey into the zen as a solo player, or with up to four others - there’s plenty of leaves to go around.
Leaf Cards // Momiji
Creating a beautiful landscape, players will aim to score points by collecting a lovely leafy pile, having some acorns to hand and reaching the objectives provided. With six different leaf cards to go around varying at different values, and meet a particular objective token placed in the middle of the board. They can play the cards, or collect, or activate more objectives if they’re feeling ambitious by trading in some acorns!
Depending on the landscape, more abilities come into play meaning different games require a different strategy to proceed into zen-scape.
The game isn’t too long either, can take roughly half an hour to play! So if you have some smaller gamers at the table looking to get involved - the game supports ages 8+ and will not eat into too much attention span, over a long period of time!
Think you have what it takes to rake the most leaves in?

What a beautiful looking game. I am a sucker for any game that focuses in on nature. The adorable little animal meeples also help.
