Ares Pair Up With Pendragon For Horror Board Game Last Friday
February 1, 2016 by brennon
Hidden movement games have become quite the winner in the board game world so it's good to see another one coming soon in English from Ares Games and Pendragon. Last Friday puts someone in the boots of a slasher movie villain trying to ruin the night of some poor young campers...
"Designed by Antonio Ferrara and Sebastiano Fiorillo (authors of the horror-themed card game “Stay Away!”), Last Friday is a game for two to six players, divided into four chapters full of horror and suspense (Arrival at the Camp, The Chase, The Massacre and The Final Chapter). Each chapter plays out very differently, as the hunter becomes the prey, then comes back from the dead looking for revenge."
I think this sounds like a great idea for a board game and the hidden movement aspect of the game will add a level of tension and suspense to proceedings which is exactly what you want from a horror game. The English edition of the game is slotted in for an August release so we have a while to wait BUT it could be worth it.
Does this sound like a game you might be interested in?

For people seeking a solo player game of this type try…..camp grizzly….
Not quite sure what’s going on with that board, but the concept sounds very interesting. I look forward to seeing more!
