I truly love the first month of the year. Although everybody is recovery over their newly provided Christmas hauls, now is the time where publishers begin to announce their upcoming titles heading to the tabletop over the course of the year.

HUCH! has recently announced their upcoming management title heading to our tabletops in the second half of 2022. As 2-4  players engage in a game of organisation, in Overbooking.

Overbooking - HUCH!

Overbooking // HUCH!

Overbooking requires players to conquer a puzzle of squeezing too much into a small space. Taking reigns of a successful hotel, players will be set the task of checking guests into their hotel room. However, the players on the table will work as rivalling hotels with only a certain amount of rooms to keep the public up. Meaning opponents will be poaching customers to rack up points before you get a chance to sign off on the breakfast menu!

Anticipating, guessing and gambling your opponent's free rooms, you will need to devise your own plan to ensure you can squeeze all of the potential guests in before they become impatient waiting and gaze over to a competitor's pillow. Where there is more space and a better service!

This hotel is no normal average Travelodge that you will be running. Frequent guests to your establishment will be travelling merchants, monks, soldiers and many more civilians looking for a place to rest their head in the city. As nobody has pre-booked, the enrollment will be a frenzy of last-minute bookings, with devious members of the public in dire need of a place to stay. How organised can you be?

There are only a number of slots available in your hotel. Will you be able to strategies for the optimal capacity to rake in victory points, or will allow competing businesses to steal your custom?

There is no release date as of yet for the upcoming title from HUCH!, only the confirmation of retail within the second half of the year.

Do you think you have what it takes to provide a better service than your rivals?
