AMIGO Reworking Richard Garfield’s Carnival Of Monsters
December 11, 2018 by brennon
Richard Garfield’s Carnival Of Monsters is being revamped by AMIGO for 2019 with a new range of artists and a few more changes from its Kickstarter which didn’t make its funding goal.
AMIGO have gone back to the drawing board and taken on some of the comments and suggestions from those that got involved with the game back then as well as bringing on some amazing artists to help with the project.
The basic premise of the game is that it is a car-drafting and set-collection game for two-to-five players which plays in forty-five minutes.
You are trying to collect sets of matching lands which will allow you to capture and display exotic animals from this Fantasy world. Not only are you looking to pursue your own secret agenda but also fulfil the wishes of a public who want to see something fantastic.
You also have to make sure the monsters don’t escape Fantastic Beasts style! There’s still a bit more to be done with this project before it can become a reality but Garfield is a big name in the industry and it would be fascinating to see what they can do with this.
