No matter where you head off to in Wonderland, you are guaranteed a wild experience. Whether it be slaying a Jabberwocky, or attending a Tea Party with the Mad Hatter - the world is bananas with the chance for anything to happen.

Alice in Wordland is hosting a Tea Party, but unfortunately for you, one of the guests is a little high maintenance. The Queen of Hearts is planning her own get together, but she can be quite stubborn when it comes to using the correct etiquette when in the presence of Royalty.

Now on the last hours of the campaign, the successful whimsical wordplay title is up on Kickstarter with a new deluxe edition and expansion to make those tea parties even wilder.

Alice in Wordland was initially released in 2019, but is also available on Kickstarter adding the new expansion Curiouser & Curioser to the game.

Alice in Wordland Preview // Drawlab

If you have never played Alice in Wordland before, it puts players in the role of the cute and quirky characters who dwell in Wonderland. With a series of abilities, they will be provided with the challenge of explaining the hidden word in front of them without speaking letters that the Queen has deemed forbidden, and conforming to the themes which have been put into motion.

As players stumble over their words and over a course of rounds, players will be timed - with consequences if they break the rules. Whoever racks up the most points and stays in the series of the rounds the longest will be crowned the winner.

The new expansion - which will be offered as a Deluxe only as part of this campaign - adds even more fun and complication to the mix. As players fumble over their upcoming sentences, there will be more abilities with further challenges to grasp as events come into play each round.

If you have never played Alice and Wordland before, I would certainly recommend it for those who like their word-party games. You can pledge to get yourself just the base game and it'll be delivered to you as soon as the campaign is over., or you can just dip into the expansion if you are looking to extend.

However, if you do want to get your hands on the new expansion and base game to dive into - they are offering a combination of the two as part of their deluxe edition which adds stretch goals to the mix in a bundle. These have been implemented upgrades to inside and outside the box tying together the base game and core game under one box.

Just over a day to go - so if you are looking for a hilarious party game that makes you manipulate your spoken word to appease the Queen - be sure to check out Alice in Wordland for complete fulfilment in October this year.

Being timed against the clock is something that adds so much pressure to the mix - so many extra mistakes!
