Alderac Saddle Up & Take Back Doomtown Reloaded

Alderac Entertainment Group (AEG) are bringing back a late nineties classic in the shape of Doomtown Reloaded. This Weird Wild West card game is bring bought up to date with new artwork and revamped rules for a new clutch of cowpokes to enjoy.
There aren't many proper details on the game as it stands but you will be putting together an outfit and looking to take back the town of Gomorra with the aid of guns, gunslingers and much more.
There are a lot of keywords on those cards that I'm sure will make much more sense once you get into the rules. I have to say that I have very little knowledge, other than a passing one, of the original game but this certainly sounds like an interesting game mixing the Wild West with the Weird.
We do like our cowboys here at Beasts of War so will be keeping an eye on this one?

my local goup still plays the old version. what will they think of this
Checked this out on AEG’s website. AEG are making an attempt to get into the LCG market that has been dominated by FFG. They call it an ECG (Expandable Card Game), they can’t use LCG as its copyrighted by FFG. The expansions will be a similar format with fixed content.
The release date is given as August, so looks like this will be competing with Warhammer 40K Conquest at GenCon.
Looks a lot like the original, of which I still have a ton of cards, and my gaming group plays the Savage Worlds version of the Deadlands Reloaded RPG. I will definitely be getting this game.
