Alderac Entertainment Show Off The Cover For Planes
May 17, 2014 by brennon
Ok hold on for a second and stay with me. I know the prospect of 'Planes' isn't going to wow a lot of you but the highly successful Trains from AEG is getting a sibling product, Planes and it's coming later this year.
It will be interesting to see what they do differently away from Trains which was an awesome deck building game that did a lot of things right. It also had an awesome board game element to it as well which elevated the game to a much higher level.
I would assume that this will follow a similar path and have you planning flight routes and building airports but it will be cool to see if any new mechanics raise their head.
It might sound boring but this game could be a winner!

All we need now is Automobiles!
We have Gran Tourismo. lol
the inner sheldon is doing whoops
I thought this was “construction” or business game, like 1830 or the like. Guess not. I’m sure we’ve all fought through a lot of airports in real life, so it’ll be interesting to see how they’ll make this concept into an enjoyable game (maybe in a comedy aspect)? The variable airport maps sound like they’d be an interesting addition, though.
