Batman: Gotham City Chronicles – Adventure Mode Breakdown
February 14, 2018 by dignity
Adnane from Monolith Edition is in to chat about the Adventure mode of the Batman: Gotham City Chronicles board game.
Adventure mode sees one player taking on the role of villains such as Bane, The Joker, and their henchmen; whilst the other players each play as one of the heroes such as Batman, Catwoman, or Red Hood.
If you don't know anything about the game then this is the video for you as Adnane explains how the flow of play works for each player...
...and what you can expect when playing the game yourself.
Are you ready to become the night?

I love the notches on the character boards for tracking the stamina use and keeping everything in place. More games need this!
Very similar to the Conan rules, except for the recovery phase. Nice explanation.
What a very good presentation! Well done! (and sincerely, your english is just perfect!)
That’s clearly the same system that Conan, but with some good ajustments. Nice, really. Good ideas and the board seems most clear to understand.
Good work too on the dashboards, the indication for special rules with abilities are clever points.
So, that’s all good!
Can’t wait to see the first game on Beasts of War.
I really like the look of this, the problem as I said in the Harry Potter thread is there is just so much great stuff launching this March, I will have to say no to at least one game. AHHHHH help!
I have saved up to back this, it really is my “take my money” moment of 2018.
I will be jumping into this one, the minis are looking fantastic.
