The 51st State Returns To Gamefound For Ultimate Edition
January 20, 2022 by fcostin
Portal Games have announced a restoration to 2010 city-building card game, 51st State. Heading to Gamefound with an Ultimate Edition. Bringing all of the current content released together all in one chunky box, and new expansion.
The 51st State // Portal Games
Players will re-enter the world of Neuroshima Hex in a new upgraded universe. Taking the incredibly successful original title, and pulling together all of the hard to find expansions for fans of the franchise to enjoy.
2-4 players will enter a city in ruins. There is nobody to protect the civilians with no police, no army and no government to keep prosperity to Neuroshima Hex. But there are new powers on the rise, trying to promote control over the state - creating a new order of living. Whether you agree with the powers at be or not, it is up to the players to head into the 51st State and create a notable change.
Players will take control of many different factions to push their agenda in reforming the city - in hopes of building their own country. They must designate the leader of their city and build their growth through resources and making tricky decisions that will impact the game as a whole.
Upcoming Gamefound Products // 51st State Ultimate Edition
The title was extremely popular, and I had difficulties growing the city further because I couldn't get my hands on expansions! Now they will be all tied up in one mahoooosive box, with new content to support the strength of the game.
The campaign on Gamefound for The 51st State Ultimate Edition is ready to launch on February 22nd. If you are going to back - be sure to press the notification button to get yourself some pre-campaign swag in the form of the Uranopolis Faction and get a peek of the draft page on Gamefound.

Good game, but amusing to see this so-called “Ultimate Edition” hit crowdfunding when they just did a 51st State “Master Set” in 2016. Publishers & consumers just can’t quit the never-ending expansion hamster wheel.
