50th Anniversary Star Trek Launch Event Goodies Coming To Gen Con 2016

Gale Force Nine have revealed their plans for their Star Trek Ascendancy Launch Event which will happen throughout Gen Con (4th - 7th August) which also coincides with the Star Trek Anniversary which runs from the 3rd to the 7th of August.
As Gale Force Nine are going to be at both events in Las Vegas and in Indianapolis they are going to be bringing along Launch Editions of the game which come with some additional components that will be available within this run.
Because of the limited quantities of these at the show you MUST be able to come and pick it up from the event if you want to be able to get your hands on it. In addition to the exclusive Exploration Cards above they are also adding in three special resin Starbases...
One for each of the races; Federation, Romulan and Klingon.
Digital Bonus
As well as the board game components they are also teaming up with Cryptic Studios and the Star Trek Online team to give you some items for free.
The full list includes an NX Class Starship Replica, Section 31 Uniform, 1 Research and Development Pack, and 1 Gamma Duty Officer Pack.

Any word on a street date?
Still ‘Summer’ but I imagine it will be available soon after the big events in August.
Really hope they release those Starbases at somepoint in the future

I preordered this game when the first article about it was posted here on Bow and I just can’t wait to give it a spin with my friends! Hopefully there will be massive back stabs and plenty of vendettas to be had for the following games 🙂
