Let’s Play: Blood Red Skies – Japanese VS Americans
April 30, 2018 by dignity
Rich from Warlord Games is in the studio to teach Justin their recently released miniature aerial combat game, Blood Red Skies.
Previously, John and Charlie have played a game with the Spitfires and Messerschmitts, but this time we're showing off the American P51 Mustangs and the Japanese A6-M5 Zeroes.
If you missed it be sure to check out our unboxing of the starter set to see everything included.
What do you guys think of the new planes?

Tennoheika Banzai!
I wish there was a starter set with Zeros and Mustangs. I´d get this forthwith. And then I´d get that Hornet model (like the one in Salute) and off we go.
the Zero was one of the best fighters at the start of the war but they never upgraded anything major over the years so they became easy to hit over time.
Another excellent replay. Nice to see the zero in action. My only disappointment was not seeing the amazing painted planes but realize this was probably filmed before the painting wad done . I think the zeros would have loved fabulous on this mat. Again a really fun game to play…and never get mad if the die go against you, it just means you have a chance at a rematch
Really fun game to watch I am really looking forward to playing myself, my Spitfires and my 109s are virtually finished and have to get my Zeros and P51s painted up but hopefully that wont be long now.
Just like this amazing dogfighting scene from ‘the eternal zero’…and with a ram attack too!

Waiting for them to release more pacific-themed aircraft. The Mustang is nice, but hoping for Wildcats, Hellcats, and F4U Corsairs.
I am with you on the Pacific theater aircraft. I too am waiting for Wildcats, Hellcats, and Corsairs plus a couple more variants of Japanese fighters. The Mustang again Zeros just doesnt do it for me.
Word on the street is that the Corsair is next in line for plastics (Pacific wise) and the wildcat is to be released in resin. We’ve also got plastic Hurricanes and BFme110s to look forwards to as well! 🙂
All this is what I’ve seen on the BRS facebook page/forums
well done on using the hand cam…look forward to more in detailed shots in your other game systems
