Adding to the Fantasy Football world of Blood Bowl, Games Workshop has another book on the way. Get ready for Blood Bowl Death Zone Season Two...

The new book contains rules for a whole bunch of new teams in the world of Blood Bowl including the likes of the Underworld Denizens, Goblins and Chaos Renegades.

You'll also find all manner of new Star Players for a whole bunch of the different races that already exist within the game world. New background and optional rules get thrown into the mix along with some of the top teams from Blood Bowl history.

Old School Teams

If you want to pick up some new teams then Games Workshop are also adding in some more Made To Order teams including the likes of the Lizardmen...

...the Necromantic Horrors and the High Elves.

These are certainly old school teams that aren't quite as dynamic as those out there right now BUT if you want to get some classic miniatures to start designing your newest team here are the options.

What happened to all the elf teams from season 1.. and nurgle team.

Looking forward to GW releasing more special play cards! I guess cardboard is cheaper than plastic..

Oh yes the old teams. I remember them. Wish they could push out a new Elf team and get FW to make conversion kits to make all the other Elven teams from it.

That’s a great idea!

The funny thing is they have done this with the human team. So it’s not a foreign idea and practice with GW and FW. Hope they catch on before its to late.

I was weak and have pre-ordered the gobbos from flgs, got plans for weapon conversions.

It is nice to see old teams back, but not making an easy way to get 16 is a bit meh.

Also as other have mentioned the releases are being done in a very weird way.

…. I had a similar weakness …..sigh … I’m still excited though 😀

Goblins look a lot nicer now we can see them up close. Also hooray for small boxes of 4 to go with Orc team.

Still not happy with the release schedule for Blood Bowl though. Very slow to release all of the teams. Lots of S1 teams are still missing.

4 player box was why I grabbed them, lets me get a full team to play around with.

Yeah, just wish they would do some similar little packs to get all of the positionals for the other incomplete teams.

I think first resin ones are starting to pop up at Warhammerfest @lunchbox, holding off painting my humans until I can do the lot in a batch.

Picked up my Dark Elves team at the GW shop today 🙂

I will laugh very hard if GW follow this with a release of a new elf or a new lizardmen team…

Excited for this (because I love fantasy football gmes .. I’m a tart for all of them) … Still waiting for new Chaos Dwarf or Halfling teams (my 2nd and third favorites) …. I suspect I will be waiting a while.

Oh and I am actually betting that the Nurgle rotters will be the next team ……I would like tohear others wild speculations as well.

I think Nurgle’s rotters is most likely as the next, personally would like to see Lizardmen revisited but a mix elf team is my bet for the following team.

Mix elf better be next. If they make the kit’s cut lines smart, we could see the other teams shortly after as conversion kits from Forge World.

Im starting to worry at this stage, because as mucha s I want all the old teams out, I cant help but wonder if this is being pushed out too quickly, we’re onto season 2 already?
